Refined Larder Concept’s

Homes & Gardens journalist Linda Clayton has kindly acknowledged the merits of LANSERRING’s Pickling Cabinet, describing it as an exquisite piece of living room furniture inspired by larder designs. In her recent article, Clayton appreciates the seamless integration of culinary storage and interior design, highlighting our dedication to crafting functional art objects.

The Pickling Cabinet, meticulously handcrafted using a combination of American walnut, patinated brass, and marble, stands as a testament to our commitment to creating exceptional pieces. Its sleek, slatted sliding screens offer glimpses into the illuminated internal spaces, captivating observers with its understated elegance and meticulous attention to detail.

Clayton specifically admires the small shelves incorporated within the cabinet, which not only serve as practical storage spaces but also present captivating platforms for each pickling jar. This unique design element adds a touch of sophistication and ensures that the cabinet showcases its contents as individual works of art.

Homes & Gardens Coverage

We at LANSERRING are delighted to announce that our Ladbroke Grove Townhouse project has garnered recognition with not one, but two features in Homes & Gardens magazine. The first article, penned by Linda Clayton and titled “Invisible kitchen ideas – 8 reasons why this subtle trend is taking over,” delves into the contemporary design movement of incorporating invisible kitchens into living spaces. This trend aims to seamlessly blend the kitchen into the overall aesthetic by concealing handles, appliances, storage, and even cooking areas.

The article by Linda Clayton explores the growing popularity of invisible kitchens and presents eight compelling reasons why this trend is making waves in the design world. By creating a harmonious integration between the kitchen and the living space, homeowners can enjoy a cohesive and uncluttered environment. The concealed elements contribute to a sleek and minimalist look, fostering a sense of openness and serenity. With the kitchen discreetly tucked away, the focus shifts to the surrounding decor and furnishings, allowing them to shine.

In addition to Linda Clayton’s feature, Jennifer Ebert contributes an article titled “Kitchen storage trends – 7 statement looks and innovations that will change kitchen design forever.” This article emphasizes the impact of handle-free kitchens in achieving a minimalist aesthetic. By eliminating visible handles, the kitchen maintains a clean and streamlined appearance. This design choice not only enhances the overall visual appeal but also promotes functionality and ease of use.

Both articles commend the Ladbroke Grove Townhouse project for its innovative incorporation of invisible kitchens and handle-free designs. At LANSERRING, we take pride in our commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining kitchen spaces. Our goal is to create environments that seamlessly blend form and function, enabling homeowners to enjoy living spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. We are grateful for the recognition from Homes & Gardens and will continue to innovate  in the world of kitchen design.

Craftsmanship Meets Sustainability

At LANSERRING, we believe that bespoke craftsmanship deserves bespoke packaging. With this in mind, we have installed a state-of-the-art machine that allows us to create perfectly sized cardboard boxes for our products.

In the past, it has been standard practice that products are wrapped in bubble wrap, foam sheeting or similar materials, and then placed inside a cardboard box. However, with our new machine, we have eliminated the need for these additional materials. Our bespoke cardboard boxes securely hold and protect our products in place, completely eliminating the need for any plastic wraps or foam sheeting underneath. Through this innovative approach, we have calculated that we are saving an impressive 15,000m² of plastic foam sheeting/bubble wrap per year. We are proud to have made this significant impact on the environment and are committed to doing our part in creating a more sustainable future.

In addition, our bespoke packaging is 100% recyclable, further reducing our environmental footprint. We also reuse any off cuts as packers and other similar materials in-house, ensuring nothing goes to waste. And for the rest of the waste, we have established a recycling program to ensure that it is properly processed. At LANSERRING, we believe that our dedication to exceptional craftsmanship goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to sustainability, and we are continually seeking ways to innovate and improve upon our practices.
