Elegant Stone Kitchens

Stone Kitchens | Stone is a central component to the kitchens that we design and then hand craft in our workshops.

Marble, for example, is an incredibly visually versatile material. Any colour can be sourced and the range of slabs and blocks provide flexibility in what we can sculpt. Our Project Managers make the journey with a client to the partner quarry. From there, they can personally select the piece of marble that will be installed in their home.

Macchia Vacchia marble ties in the wood tones and vast outdoor scenery harmoniously into this kitchen at Cheshire House. The quartz composition of this material guarantees a hardness for functionality whilst the striking veining makes for a beautiful central island and backsplashes. In some sections of this kitchen the marble has been fluted to develop the textural richness.

At SW Retreat a Taj Mahal quartzite was selected as a core material to take centre stage in this organic material palette. The ivory hues of this quartzite are polished to a high shine, the final result falls in line with the contemporary design intent of this luxurious kitchen design. Paired with black and white pepper-stained oak, a balanced elegance is achieved.

At Parkside Townhouse Calacatta Verde marble is paired with a dark stained oak with brass accents to provide a tonal experience. The true showstopper of this space is a unique sculptural island. This marble blends a range of green hues offering a sage to deep forest shades, linking to the natural world. Two intersecting curved solid forms of marble complete the composition of this interior with a characterful touch.

All of these interiors are examples of a stunning use of stone to enhance a space through unexpected colours and clever material pairings. This natural material also grounds a space in refined craftsmanship.
