Both master craftsmen, they studied at The Ortwein School before going on to lead their family joinery business, originally established by their great-grandfather in 1923. Today, their workshops remain at the foot of Riegersburg Castle in Austria.
Over the years, they have built a global reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their expertise in bespoke luxury joinery has led to collaborations with renowned designers such as Martin Kemp and Katharine Pooley, as well as prestigious developers including Finchatton and Candy & Candy (One Hyde Park).
In 2006, the brothers also founded the London-based company INTERIOR-iD. Across all their ventures, Bernd and Johann now employ more than 80 people, continuing a legacy of precision engineering and refined design.
Their energy, creativity and vision have established them as leading figures in the world of high-end interiors.
