Holly Park Hall

In a story of restoration and new life, we present our design for Holly Park Hall.

At the centre of this grand heritage space we have placed an altar-like Breccia Capraia marble island. Kitchen storage and appliances have been concealed behind reintroduced traditional panelling. Meanwhile, arched beams have been introduced to an area of dropped ceiling height, making sense of imbalance.

To the side of the room is an insulated pantry. Sliding steel and glass doors frame tantalising fresh produce on elegantly backlit shelving. Marble splashbacks against the outside walls conduct away heat, keeping ingredients cool naturally.

The room is divided by a row of original archways, beyond which lies a comfortable living area. A full entertainment suite is concealed in the continued traditional panelling. As a whole, the space feels like something between a ballroom and a chapel.
