The Timeless Beauty of Bespoke Oak Kitchens

Oak Kitchens | Oak provides a durable structure for a kitchen that matures beautifully and pairs elegantly with a range of stone and metal finishes.

Our artisans are masterful at shaping this material into beautiful kitchen joinery using traditional techniques honed over generations.

Using an unpainted oak means we let the beauty of the natural grain shine through. We enhance the material through staining and oiling to ensure the oak is protected and visually cohesive with the rest of the space. Oak can create a warm and earthy kitchen grounded in nature, perfect for creating a relaxing sanctuary.

Every Lanserring design project is completely bespoke and unique, this requires that we think about how every design detail can be customised for our clients tastes and rituals. To accommodate our clients fully, we meticulously curate a material palette that is perfected by our workshop artisans. Sometimes specifically crafted textures are required to fulfil the brief.

Staining is another way we personalise oak cabinetry. In the Notting Hill Town House, we used a green stained oak to contrast the bright quartz worktops. The deep green links to the printed leaf textile used for the curtains and the green accents of the White Beauty marble. We used a similar deep colour in the Madison Avenue kitchen, the brushed oak of this kitchen pairs brilliantly with a deep caramel walnut and the artisanal metalwork.

The Marylebone Mansion central island showcases a richly grained crown cut stained oak, this detail adds an elegant depth and is a distinguishing feature from the cabinetry behind. Oiled by hand, the drawer boxes and internals complement the Taj Mahal Quartzite worktop, creating a welcoming atmosphere of soft, natural tones.
