London Kitchen Design | In this West London home, we created a quietly sophisticated kitchen and bespoke joinery throughout the lower-ground floor, defined by traditional craftsmanship, refined proportions and a calm, architectural presence.
The kitchen combines extensive fitted cabinetry with subtle moulding details, forming a space that feels both grounded and elevated. Tall pedimented units and open shelving balance storage and display, while a compact island with framed drawers and solid timber corbels provides both practicality and a social focus. Pale Compac Absolute White worktops and Breccia stone surfaces bring depth and brightness, complemented by discreet LED lighting.
On the lower-ground floor, joinery shapes each room with equal attention to materiality and proportion. In the family room, a TV unit and storage pieces feature routed detailing, moulded cornices, and soft lacquered finishes, while a built-in desk and bookshelf with stone inlay offer a calm, inviting workspace.
Bedrooms and dressing areas blend lacquered panels, suede linings and dark patinated metal accents, with vanities in stained oak and softly gilded mirror surrounds. In the guest bedroom, crown-cut oak storage and a kitchenette with pocket doors and routed detailing create a cohesive, textural backdrop.
Across the suite, each piece is carefully considered in form and finish, resulting in spaces that feel composed, functional and quietly luxurious.
